Husband and wife team Tom and Michaela Kitchin opened KORA in July 2022 with an ambition to create a genuine neighbourhood restaurant in the heart of Edinburgh.
KORA’s Head Chef James Chapman was previously Head Chef at The Scran & Scallie. There, he led a team of talented chefs to establish the Stockbridge venue as Scotland’s leading gastropub. At KORA he leads the team in creating a menu of exciting and ever evolving seasonal dishes.
A stellar front of house team is led by General Manager Greig Munro, and supported by Assistant Manager, Sophie Copland who joins the team from Kitchin’s award-winning gastropub The Scran & Scallie. Bar Manager Kevin Stuart, and his bar team are passionate about presenting a selection of seasonal cocktails, a wealth of wines and an enviable selection of beers and ales from leading Scottish breweries.
